I’m Andrea.

I’m one who has been “seized by the power of a great affection.” (Brennan Manning). Jesus rescued me, calls me by name and calls me His Beloved.

I’ve been married to my favorite human for 31 years. I’m a Baby Bird Launcher (aka Empty Nester) as my young-adult girls have moved out and are off building their lives, leaving us at home with only our 15-year-old Bichon-mix, Oliver.

I’m a trained Spiritual Director and graduated from Selah, Leadership Transformations’ Certificate in Spiritual Direction in 2023. I love meeting in quiet, prayerful spaces with those who want to be attentive to the voice and work of the Lord. And I am a champion for contemplative spiritual disciplines as ways to know the Lord more intimately.

I hope that in these vignettes of everydayness you’ll find a safe space to explore His outrageous love for you. That they’ll raise questions, create dialogue, and make you want to know Him.

I hope you’ll get a peek at the remarkable in the run-of-the-mill. I pray that together we’ll find Christ in the mundane, that you’ll catch sight of…Heaven in Ordinary.
